Peter Park

Mr. Park is responsible for all the treasury and banking functions at the company. He has 15 years of experience in the investment field, most recently as Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at an investment management firm where he was responsible for the fixed income department that managed more than $6 billion in assets for institutional and high net worth accounts.
Previously, Mr. Park worked at a large Canadian insurance company as part of a team responsible for managing multi-billion dollar fixed income assets. He has experience in managing both U.S. and Canadian bond portfolios. Mr. Park is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Rodney Stevens
CFA, Director
Rodney Stevens is a capital markets professional with over a decade of experience focused on mining M&A, strategic advisory, and equity research. He has played a key role in originating, structuring, and executing transactions and financings exceeding $1 billion in aggregate value, working across the full deal lifecycle from research and valuation through negotiation and closing. Mr. Stevens began his career as an investment analyst at Salman Partners Inc., where he was recognized as a top-rated analyst by StarMine in 2007, and later served as a merchant and investment banker advising on corporate strategy and transactions. He was also registered as a Portfolio Manager in the mining sector with Wolverton Securities Ltd. Mr. Stevens holds an academic background in finance and is a CFA charter holder.
Shinji Satake
Managing Director, Japan
Based in RCI’s Tokyo office, Mr. Satake oversees RCI’s Japan related corporate strategy, M&A and investment banking efforts. In addition, Mr. Satake focuses on building client relationships within the Japan market. Mr. Satake has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry with a specific focus in the resource industry.
Prior to joining RCI, Mr. Satake was a key member of the resource business team of Sumitomo Corporation. During this time, Mr. Satake was based in Denver, Colorado and oversaw management of Sumitomo’s North and South American mineral resource portfolios including the Morenci Mine, the Pogo Mine, the Candelaria Mine, Ojos del Salado and the San Cristobal Mine. Mr. Satake began his career based in Tokyo with the Marubeni Corporation, where he began as Analyst in the Non-Ferrous Metals division and was eventually promoted to Manager. Mr. Satake holds an Bachelor of Economics degree from Kobe University.
Jim Mustard
Technical Director, Investment Banking
Mr. Mustard has a long career in mining and mine finance and for the past 15 years has worked in the capital market sector as a VP, Senior Mining Analyst, at Haywood Securities and as a VP, Investment Banking at PI Financial. Mr. Mustard obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Geological Engineering from Queens University, Kingston, Ontario. He then went on to work for Barrick Gold, Eldorado Gold, Cyprus Anvil Mining Crop, Amax Mining, Amax of Canada and Canada Tungsten Mining at both underground and open pit mining operations with responsibility for mine engineering, mine planning, regulatory compliance and exploration. Mr. Mustard also worked for the Canadian Federal Government as Manager of a mining incentive program.
Kenny Kang
Manager, Investment Banking
Mr. Kang joined RCI Capital in 2002 following his MBA and has specialized in institutional, private equity and HNW capital formation. Mr. Kang leads a team from RCI’s Shanghai office where he has been instrumental in raising over $350M. Mr. Kang works with and reports to RCI Capital, China Managing Director Larry Liang in our Beijing office.
Mr. Kang is a graduate of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics where he received his B.Sc. in Finance, followed by a MBA from the University of British Columbia.
